Just some few days after witnessing the release of the Tecno W4 that is yet to be fully available in the market, Tecno L8surfaced. There is no doubt Tecno has been working on this device before the launch of the W4. The Tecno L8 is a budget friendly mid-range HiOS smartphone from Tecno Mobile with same price range as the recently launched Infinix HOT 3.
If you are sharp-eyed, you will know that all Tecno’s “L” series smartphones come with Mammoth battery capacity. Tecno, this time had increased the battery power on the L8 to make it stand in line with other smartphones boasting of robust batteries. The Tecno L8 batter compartment sports a really monstrous battery power of 5050mAh with Quick Charge technology, an improvement of the Tecno L5 battery. Like other Tecno Phones , the L8 uses a MediaTek Chipest , and although TECNO didn’t specify the exact type , we were able to confirm that it is a Quad-core Chipset with a processor speed of 1.3Ghz. For multitasking , there is 1GB RAM , which combines with the MediaTek processor to deliver performance on the device.
The operating system on the Tecno L8 is Android 5.1 Lollipop laced with the new HiOs user interface. HiOs first launched on the Tecno Boom J8 smartphone and it comes with some useful features such as Boom Player , a music streaming app.
